I googled and found references to this but the solution was just to rebuild
the port and all modules - which I did and still no go.

This is a pristine install, my /etc/make.conf:

WITH_BDB_VER=44
PERL_VER=5.8.8
PERL_VERSION=5.8.8
I saw nothing in the UPDATING. Am I doing anything silly that I am missing?
