I had the same problem
the only solution I could find after 2 weeks of upgrading de-installing and
reinstalling
was simply to not install KDESDK from the KDE 4.8.4 installer

This seems to come from the same libkonq problems which are currently
blocking your kde4-baseapps upgrade.
