It would be nice to get the new version installed prior to the release of FreeBSD-7.3, IMHO. a) it's not sufficiently tested. b) an upgrade to xorg is in the wings. That's certainly going to affect even more ports. Waiting for both of those to be finished would mean delaying 7.3 even
