LT unit that is recognized as BENCHMARK on
FreeBSD 4.10, so I don't think this is a tape type problem.. does
FreeBSD support this tape on this adapter? I don't want to run Linux on
this server :(

There wouldn't be, AFAIK that's normal, the nsa* devices are no-rewind
versions of the sa* devices. Is an sa0 device shown? I'd try a:
