sendmail startup problem

This might be less sophisticated than you're looking for, but here's what I did with my latest home media server. I looked out for the cheapest desktop size Dell server I can find. (I have three of them now. Two are 6 years old, and have never had problems.) I got my media server last year. I

Hi, I wrote a perl script to get a news show I like. When I run it, it deletes yesterday's copy of the show, and downloads the new copy. The script works fine. I run the script as myself (charlie), charlie owns it, and it's chmod'd 0755. Works fine. I can't get cron to run it, though.

can't install php5-dba port

Hello, I'm running php 5.05, apache 2.053, on FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE. When I try to install the port (from the ports collection) php5-dba I get this message: === php5-dba-5.0.3_2 is marked as broken: Doesn't work with PHP version : 4 (Doesn't support PHP 4). Help appreciated. Charlie
