But it does not seem to work correctly. Any ideas if this is possible. Would
make it easier to rebuild the jail template since I wouldn't need to remember
to set __MAKE_CONF.
Any help would be appreciated.

No updates have been made to either machine so if that is the issue let

at least not in English).
Thanks for the help.

Hey all,
Does anyone have any experience getting an HP PSC 1610 to work with FreeBSD.
I am running 6. I got the printer working under cups and samba. But I would
like to get the scanner working using SANE and possibly twainsane.
So far I have tried to load the uscanner.ko but got no recognition.
I have computer A running 5.3 as a NFS server and AMD. I would like for
a remote client to be able to access the cd-rom on A without accessing A

only mount the drive locally and not from on the server side. The drive

I have tried:

chmod -R 777 /dev/cd0
chgrp 777 /dev/c

From HP/Compaq website the soundcard driver for Windows is ESS
1869/1887/1888 Audio Driver. I am guessing then the soundcard is ESS
(whatever that means). I see on the handbook that ESS Solo-1/1E is
supported. Does this driver work and how do you get FreeBSD to load it?
