Hello,
I would like to use ZFS over MBR for multiboot purposes. I've followed
that guide
file /home/markand/.Xauthority
I don't understand why sometimes it works and why sometimes not. Is it
because I run shutdown -p now inside X? I heard that these files are
normally deleted when X shutdown.
If you have any tips, it will be graceful.
King regards.

That I don't know how to fix it.
If someone could help me, thanks.

Hi,
I was trying to follow this guide to make labels :
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/geom-glabel.html
It does
to remove or to put in
background the Waiting 30s for the default ... it's sometime too long.
For the moment it just works and it's very powerful, I can switch the wired /
wireless without any commands ;-).
Cheers,

Hi,
I tried to make buildworld with a custom src.conf to prevent many
useless things since I want to build for a jail.
This is what I added:
.if defined(BUILD_JAIL)
WITHOUT_ACPI=YES
WITHOUT_APM=YES
WITHOUT_GAMES=YES
WITHOUT_AMD=YES
Hi freebsd-questions@,
I made some encryption on my USB mass storage, so I wanted to know if we can
geli {attach,detach} as user ? Since we can mount devices as user it would be
great for geli too.
And what about the geli_devices in rc.conf the manpage says it attaches at
the boot
.
The modules I wanted to remove are : WTIHOUT _ACCT, _ATM, _BSNMP, _CTM,
_FORTH, _GPIB, _IPX, _NCP.
Do some of these are used by the system?
Thanks for the help :).
King regards.
