When I cd /usr/ports/www/firefox3 then run make deinstall, I get a error
message that port is not installed.

You should use pkg_delete instead: running make deinstall could fail

Im running FreeBSD 7.1 - that was setup with its normal host area and
added via ezjail (2) jails.
