i'm trying to make one of my boxes a file server, ftp server, and mysql
i'm running apache on box #2...
now i need to mount my users dir on box 2 from box 1
i can't seem to make it work from freebsd handbook.
any step by step links?

i named the link ftp...
i can browse the dir in samba...but when i login to ftp bamm
its all screwed up

I'm transfering files over to my FreeBSD box with samba and it is
slow...
Seems like the transfer is only 10mbit/sec.. My lan is 100base tx...
Any settings I should know to make samba transfer at 100m/s ??

When user ftp in and uploads files, I want the files uploaded into my
webserver box. The webserver box will have all my hdds in it...
And say a user logs into ftp box,, when he uploads a file onto the
other box -- will the file instantly show up for webserver?

I can login and run the shlight command and it mounts ok without error,
so I'm wondering if
I need to make the shlight startup sleep or something for a certain
amount of time maybe ?
