I think I may have a lost a file. I placed it in /tmp and rebooted
the server. Now it is no longer there. Is the file recoverable at
all???

is there a way to configure ssh lockout after # of failed attempts on
server running freebsd 5.3Release??? i would like to be able to lock
by account or IP address for a certain time period after a certain
number of failed ssh login attemps. I'm not on the list so please CC:

I've been curious about this for a while. I have a freebsd 5.3 Release
Server running FTPD. Users running MS WIndows can connect to it just
find as long as they type in ftp://[EMAIL PROTECTED] However, when they
connect as ftp://ipaddress, the server thinks they are trying to
connect anonymously. B
