FreeBSD server configuration

Hi everyone! I need to buy a server for a medium-sized network. The server will run FreeBSD but I'm not quite sure wich. It will need to support 500 Mbps upload and 500 Mbps dowload, perhaps more, and NAT at 50-60 Mbps, firewall, bandwidth shaping and logging with netflows. I want to buy a dual-c

Another problem: gaim

I installed gaim from the /usr/ports/net/gaim...I do make install clean...but,it's working.can't connect (with yahoo protocol),put the user and password correctly.I use a FreeBSD 5.2 with gaim 0.73. So, what is the problem? Thanks

I installed the latest stable vmware on several architectures running 2k and XP and installed linux (slackware), netbsd and freebsd. I installed vmware on similar machines running linux (slackware) and FreeBSD, and as guest i installed netbsd (on slack), win98 (on slack), slack (on freebsd) freebsd
