I've just found it a little inconvienent that FreeBSD dumps dmesg output into ttyv0. Here's why. If you start up the system, and log in on ttyv0, all your X errors (ie, poor mpegs) are thrown into the same console as your dmesg output. I much prefer the way certain other unices have set things u
