SATA controllers the lot... but no AGP or DRM support?

This email has not yet arrived to the list, I can see the email leaving my
mailserver and being delivered to one of the freebsd boxes but after that
it seems stuck.

i am currently deciding on hardware for a server at home which will manage
my email (Mailtoaster), website, dns, dhcp and samba. It will replace 2
boxes. The load is currently average 0.4 on a Dual Pentium 3 800mhz (thats
the old mailserver - FreeBSD 5.4) and the other is just
about it. It is good enough for
someone who's greatest need is writing to Grandma, but that is about it.

This (multiple A records) works for me, at least approximately. Both
Bind and MS DNS will round robin when multiple A records exist for the
same hostname. What is your setup?
FreeBSD 6.2 with Sendmail (initially) and now postfix.
MS DNS with round robin (and TTL set to 0 on the records
, not at a *BSD
desktop.

The ATA controller is found in the dmesg log and the CD is obviously
working.
The machine is a 2.4 P4 with 768Mb and 60Gb ata disk.

Hi
I'm new to FreeBSD but I'm loving it very much! I'm experimenting with CARP
to create a redundant router/firewall.
I created a functioning two machine routing cluster and it works very well
while configured for failover. I'm going to test it with load balancing and
I'm wondering about some
on FBSD or a
jumper setting on the drive or what. I'm not even sure I can turn it
off so the drives don't spin down.
Any ideas, anyone?
