I have an ADSL connection at home.
When I'm _uploading_ files the whole upload bandwidth is consumed; so
far so good.
But when _downloading_ no more than 30~40% of download bandwidth is
consumed.
The guys in the ISP say they've granted me the requested bandwidth but

Once I had a similar problem on a Linux box (send OK/no receive) and
after days of playing with settings and configurations I found that
the problem was the network _cable_. I replaced the cable and it went
fine without any additional configurations.

Hello friendly FreeBSDier's i am tring to make my machine work with a Motorola
usb modem and get the below errors in my dmesg. I would be very grateful if
someone could help me with this problem.

mail server kills an awful lot of spam. keep
spamassassin in there by all means, but after you start greylisting
you most likely will see the load on the machine drop considerably.
it's fairly easy to implement too.

Hello all i am running freebsd 4.11 an cannot seem to build php4 or php5 i get
errors like these

I found out recently most vendors here in Malaysia, they've stop selling any
model 3com NIC's, 3com Corp. itself stop all the 3com NIC's production they
added.
I've read a few article on the internet and 3com web, they officially announce
no more end-user product in their next business plan
i installed freebsd 6 on a old laptop, it's p3 600 mhz.
everthing goes fine, but after installation, my len is not working. It's IBM
10/10 EtherJet CardBus Adapter and connected in pcmci . it's not detected. Any
idea ?

Hello again all i have been having a really hard time figuring out how to get
flash to work on my Freebsd machine. I go to lots of sites and they tell me to
get the plugin but i have tried everything and cannot get it to work.
