Problem with installing curl/xine

checked the Makefile in /usr/port/ftp/curl but could not figure out any way to disable either GNU TLS or OpenSSL support. So in the current situation, I cannot install curl and therefore cannot install xine. Can somebody please help me get out of this situation ? Thanks in advance Manish Jain

Incorrect commandline history with bash

Newbie problems with svscan and arp

/bin/svscanboot at system startup, but when I do 'ps -waux | grep svscan', I get nothing. A few qmail processes are however running. How do I get svscan to start ? My rc.conf, inetd.conf, hosts and /usr/local/etc/rc.d/svscan.sh files are attached. Thanks for any help. Manish Jain

sendmail hangs at boot time
