FreeBSD 6.1
Fetchmail release 6.3.5+RPA+SDPS+SSL+OPIE+NLS.
I had been running fetchmail without incident for over a year. I then did
something stupid; I updated it. Now, it produces this error message in
the /var/maillog file:

When running 'portsclean' from CRON, this message is sent to the root
mailbox. In fact, there are several of them in the mailbox. I do not
know what it means.

I am running FBSD-6.3 presently. Is this error important and if so,
what can I do to correct it?

I am getting an error message when using the hp-toolbox (print/hplip)
version 2.7.12 on a FreeBSD-6.3 machine. When I start the program, this

I have XFCE-4 installed. I usually access this from my WinXP box via
TightVNC. No problem there. From within XFCE-4, I usually mount a share

I have a server on a network which is inhabited by an Intel rack-mount
box running Win2k. The Intel server has got two of it's NIC's 'teamed'
- the Intel redundant NIC method.
Problem is that to the FreeBSD box, it looks like the MAC address of

you want to run the mail through postfix rather than simply use a
tool like procmail straight from fetchmail for your deliveries? That

Yes, and come to think about it, this problem just started happening
after I updated it. I assume that the pat
tting isn't requested via /etc/rc.d/sysctl at startup
(which reads from /etc/sysctl.conf), but from another service.

can't seem to fix it. The name server is running properly and responds
to queries but the error message is bothersome and I'd like to get rid
of it. I reinstalled bind from ports just to make sure everything was up

According to the man page you don't need the -u when doing a single

I am configuring a mail server to make use of the DNS-based black lists
supplied by spamhaus.org, and have run into a bit of a snag.
I'm running sendmail 8.12.11, and have successfully configured the
'dnsbl' feature to reject mail from hosts in the black lists, but
spamhaus.org has requested that

my /var/log/message and it's really annoying me.
Can some body advice me how to make this error go away...I'm in the
final phase to real the system to my user.
