Hello Family
At Tue, 20 Jun 2006 it looks like Ted Mittelstaedt composed:
It's easy to build that program by hand on FreeBSD.

Thanks Ted.

Hello Family,
I spotted a program called linksysmon and was wondering if there
is anything in ports that is similar?
It's for accessing the logs of a Linksys router.
Thanks

%BCM430G.DeviceDesc% = BCM43XG, I take it it's this one
PCI\VEN_14E4DEV_4320SUBSYS_00141737
When I load if_ndis nothing happens
When downloading the drivers from Linksys site I noticed there are 3
versions of the WMP54G (v1,v2,v4) so I tried all three drivers with no
luck.
This is all on 6.1-RELEASE

You didn't use ndisgen, did you?
No I didn't, I used the instructions from here:

Hi
We've just upgraded our office switch to a gigabit Netgear one. We bought a
stack of Linksys EG1032 cards because the hardware list says they are
compatible with FreeBSD 6. I've got one working in my desktop (dmesg
identifies it as re0: Linksys EG1032 (RTL8169S) Gigabit Ethernet) which
Sorry ignore me!
I've tested the 6.1-BETA4 CD and that supports the card. I forgot my desktop
actually runs a very old 6-STABLE, so the Linksys card v3 support must have
been added a few weeks after 6.0 was released. I'll just run the onboard
ethernet until 6.1 comes out - whenever that may

Hello,
I am trying to get a linksys EG1032 working with freebsd 6.0. The
driver appears to not be loading properly giving error that it could
not map ports/memory and attach returned 6. Not sure what is wrong, or
what needs to be done to fix.
Please advise,

So from what I gather, rev=0x10 indicates the use of the realteak
chipset and the 6.0 release kernel does not recognize this variant and
must be patched to load the correct driver re.
I have not manually done source patches and am kind of adverse to
using blind patches from mailing lists.
Anyone here use the PAP2 on FreeBSD.. perhaps with isc-dhcpd.
I plug it in and, despite whatever I configure it to be, it wants to
take over the RFC LAN (systems stop routing/responding).
I'm gonna continue cracking away at it, but figured I'd ask if someone
has seen this problem, etc.
