Recommendations? Small Department IM server

Hello All, I am looking for an im server that runs on FreeBSD (preferably from ports) for ~20 people with SSL/TLS. I see there is jabberd and ejabberd (anything else to consider?) It seems that ejabberd needs java and all sorts of other things.. and that jabber needs mysql ;) Am I missing somet

Openfire is a viable option for a Jabber server. You can install it out of ports. Most or all administration is performed via a web console. I think we went from "make install clean" to chatting in about an hour. /usr/ports/net-im/openfire http://www.igniterealtime.org/projects/openfire/ind
