I'm running 5.4-STABLE, and this machine is my gateway. It already

ndisgen WG311v3.INF WG311v3.sys
After working through the simple wizard and selecting the defaults, I ended
up with a kernel module called: WG311v3_sys.ko
Then I loaded it by running:

Could someone point me to a wireless adapter that functions with FBSD
4.11? I was hoping to get a 802.11g capable card, but it doesn't appear
that the ath(4) driver is available to 4.11 and wi(4) seems to only
mention 802.11a cards. The list in wi(4) also seems somewhat out of
date.
Has anyone tried to use a Linksys WPC55AG PCMCIA wireless card with FreeBSD?
Any input would be welcome. I did a search and found one thread from early
Aug. where Sam found a bug and indicated that it would be fixed.

through the PS/2 port (the mouse is detected now -- it was not defective, when
I bought it the first thing I did was to test it in a windoze box).

can't get it to work. I have read that some people can get it to work, that

Windows (and presumably Mac), but with FreeBSD the mouse doesn't work.
The ums driver sees the mouse and attaches:

FreeBSD, like OpenWrt project for Linksys WRT54G under Linux.

I have the card in re (an driver, ancontrol managing program) which I want
to be configured automatically when inserted.
Now, in rc.conf I have:
devd_enable="YES"
pccard_enable="YES"

The script I want to be executed is /etc/start_if.an0

Im having a problem on making a wireless optical mouse work with
FreeBSD-5.3. It was a "Wireless Optical 3D Mouse (A4Tech)". It works
fine with Windows XP. I re-configured my Xorg using "xorgconfig" and
has specified that the corrent mouse port is "/dev/ums0".

The goal was to get my M$ Wireless Optical Desktop Pro working in
conjunction with my M$ Optical Trackball. I know, that's a lot of M$
for a FreeBSD dude. To that I say, their software may suck, but their
hardware is really good.
