Ok - I decided that perhaps my problem was a undetected conflict in old packages - i deleted most of my old package and now the current error I get is: CSRG_BASED -DFUNCPROTO=15 -DNARROWPROTO -DXTHREADS -D_THREAD_SAFE -DXUSE_MTSAFE_API -DXNO_MTSAFE_PWDAPI-DMALLOC_0_RETURNS_NULL
