$ freebsd-update fetch
Fetching metadata signature for 7.0-RELEASE from update.FreeBSD.org... failed.
No mirrors remaining, giving up.
I've heard this before and it is caused by resolvers (most likely
your router?) which don't understand requests for SRV records.
Use your ISPs nameservers

Hi there,
Any idea how I can troubleshoot it? Thanks!
Hello,
I am not sure why but whenever I do:
$ freebsd-update fetch
Fetching metadata signature for 7.0-RELEASE from update.FreeBSD.org... failed.
No mirrors remaining, giving up.
but if type:
$ portsnap fetch

but if type:
$ portsnap fetch

Many thanks for any hint as to what may be wrong with
update.FreeBSD.org on this machine!
