Handbook is old and cripsy about that all thing yet provides a useful

- you don't need kmem_size/arc tuning on amd64 generally;
- zfs.zfs.prefetch_disable=0 will cause

Most of http://wiki.freebsd.org/ZFSTuningGuide
is for i386 and amd64.
I'm using zfs on ia64 r238540.
Not sure how much of the advice given apply in my case.

# grep ZFS /var/run/dmesg.boot
ZFS filesystem version: 5
ZFS storage pool version: features support (5000)
# zpool upgrade -v |tail

2 Mega Bytes? Surely that's a typo, but is it 200MB? 2GB?
Those that know ZFS will want to know the primary use / load of this system.
It was a typo for sure. Should be 2GB
It will be a server, so no X

I would welcome some advise on zfs tuning. Coming from solaris I need
this info.
The system only has 2MB of ram. No problems running solaris11 in it so
far so FreeBSD should do just fine too, but who can suggest some
settings for:
vm.kmem_size
vm.kmem_size_max
vfs.zfs.arc_max
