Hi all,
I wonder what I might have done wrong to cause this. I've just CVSupped the
latest stable sources last night, and today I built the world as follows:
% cd /usr/src
% make buildworld
(loads of coffee, lunch, etc)
% make buildkernel KERNCONF=FORTUNA
(more coffee)

I think after reading the web page mentioned earlier in this thread you are SOL.
Perhaps you could get a copy of Partition Magic a
cd /dev and MAKEDEV ad1 then do a disklabel ad1 and see which partition it's
using and do the mount with the partition letter and see if that works.

Daniel.

Ok. I take a marvelously running Windows 2000 system and
install the second harddisk that has windows98/fat32x on it.
Bios recognizes drive correctly.
Windows recognizes there's a drive, recognizes there's a partition
on it and assigns it a drive letter; but doesn'

would be good if you could push the release back until then, I myself
personally won't be able t
Hello All,
I am attempting to upgrade a box from 3.5-S to the latest 4.x-S

In FreeBSD, SCSI hard disk drivers are named da[n], IDE hard disks are
connected to nodes named ad[n]. Before that, it was wd[n]. AFAIR,

I am somewhat confused about the 4.4-RCx package collections:
$ rsync ftp-master.freebsd.org::FreeBSD/ports/i386/
Yes.
