7.0 iwi driver

i am having trouble with the speed of the iwi driver. in my ifconfig, its showing 54mbit, but its really only able to transfer a wireless B speeds (350K/s or so). i never experienced this with the iwi-firmware-kmod that was used in 6.2. is there anything i can do to resolve this and get it
