i'm using an atheros 5212 on 6.x release w/ the ath driver finding that i
need to bounce the card fairly often to keep the pipe from diminishing to
1Mps. is there a fix for this?

in the kernel config the adapter shows up as
ugen0: ArkMicroChips USB-UART Controller, rev 1.10/0.01, addr 2
no specific com port shows up, however, so i must need something else.

(running 6.1-RC) doesn't have a standard db-9 port.
