h pc hardware, to have a unix-oriented bios? My take on this is: Possible != Portable. Or better put, Writing a "FreeBSD-cool" bios would be relatively easy. Trying to keep it updated and/or make it work on a whole bunch of different vendor's computers wouldn't. - Forrest W.
