downgrade freebsd 6.3 to 6.2?

Hi, I'm having some issues after upgrading from 6.2 to 6.3 (with the mpt driver). I have upgraded both world and kernel and have already done installkernel and installworld and rebooted several times. Now I wish to downgrade to 6.2; I did *default tag=RELENG_6_2 in CVSUP file and make

freeBSD 6.3 and LSI Logic 1030 = only 3.3MB/s
