Hello,
I have a box which can't sync using cvsup, therefore, I thought of
using cvs by invoking the following command in the directory
/usr/src/cvs/
# cvs -d [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/ncvs co src
I do get all the updates and it seems to be checking out successfully,
however, when I try to
# make -
e/iconv.h
nm /usr/local/lib/libiconv.a | grep iconv_open
00012670 T iconv_open
00012670 T libiconv_open
cat /etc/make.conf

CXXFLAGS+= -fconserve-space

I'm having an issue as I'm a newbie in installing/configuring the
marvell driver for FreeBSD.
A quick search in the mailing lists shows:
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/getmsg.cgi?fetch=2601224+2604070
+/usr/local/www/db/text/2006/freebsd-questions/20060402.freebsd-questions
but I have no clue how I c
ter, is it possible
to revert back to the old driver? I don't want to upgrade my system to
an "unstable" release. I know FreeBSD is stable but 6.1 is not
officially for production use yet! Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm trying to install devel/gettext but unfortunately it is failing
saying:
install-info
--quite /usr/local/info/autosprintf.info /usr/local/info/dir
install-info: No such file or directory
for /usr/local/info/autosprintf.info
*** Error code 1
What can I do to over come this?

during the install (I doubt)? I have erased all the slices on the drive then
pressed on "A" to create the FreeBSD slice Automatically (it created three

then I Auto labeled the sli

Not sure if this is a common issue with FreeBSD 6 on Toshiba laptops but
I'm still looking around

Hello Everyone,
I just thought of upgrading from FreeBSD 6 BETA5 to 6-STABLE so I
followed the http://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/makeworld.html manual
page.
I reached to a point where I had to reboot into single user mode to
continue with make installworld and mergemaster but I wasn't able to
