I have Orinoco 802.11b PC Card from Proxim. I plugged it to pcmcia
slot, but It doesn't work - no blinking LEDs, no wi0 in ifconfig.
I have 7.1-PRERELEASE, laptop Prestigio Nobile 157. On NetBSD seems
working, but NetBSD is not friendly with me.
if_wi driver included in kernel.

Hi all, I was using NDIS for a (ath0) wifi 3Com OfficeConnect
Wireless 108Mbps 11g XJACK PC Card under 5.3-stable I upgraded my src
and hove now 5.4-PRERELEASE but now the card is not working well, when
I ping to my gateway I get very high response times and I start to
loose conection. the card
Orinoco Gold and an SMC 2532W-B,
give the following message upon insertion:
CIS is too long -- truncating
pccard0: card has no functions
cbb0: PC Card card activation failed
"pccardc dumpcis" says "0 slots found"
In PCIC-compatible mode, FreeBSD does not recognize the car

I have been running 4.5-PRERELEASE on my little laptop until recently. This
had the problem that it would only boot with the pc card routing set to ISa,
and then it would not talk to any cards as it appeared not to be able to get
any data from them.
