(Approximately the same question as I'm about to ask seems
to have come up many times in -questions and -stable, but
I haven't found a useful answer to it.)
I have a box running 6-STABLE, cvsupped yesterday.
Until recently it was running 5.something and showed
exactly the same peculiar behaviour
