Togawa,
at first, it may eventually make sense to see a kernel panic backtrace -
without that, it's guesswork (tm). Can you show us your kernel config?
But please try to sync your binaries (kernel + kld's + world) first.
Not related to your problem, you should fix your thumb drive / sdhc
module slices and fix filesystem labels.

I think we need some more delay to give drivers the chance to complete
device probing before the root mount is being tried but I hate to just
blindly hack a delay somewhere. Will check that issue, eventually next week.

But when combining that with your findings, it may still be a thing to

This doesn't happen if USB is built into kernel.
That sound strange. I have no idea why that might work (or I'm
totally wrong with my handover theory).
Weird...
Yes, sounds like or it's probably easily explainable ;)

n ABI breakage. For that, all drivers written for
the old USB stack need to be rewritten and I guess, we need to take care
about 3rd party developers and inform them in advance about that massive
change. I would not wonder if this will never get MFC'd but I don't know
actually.

can you
stand.
Per,
I don't own such a device, so I needed to rely on the original posting.
A quick search on other projects shows, PID 0x1003 is really an E220
device. Your device string in usbdevs seems to be the correct one.

I would like to see the same output for the Huawei devices. I guess
they have different interfaces and the first driver attaching to
