Welcome. Getting started as a FreeCol contributor is summarized at http://www.freecol.org/how-to-contribute.html. Most of the project infrastructure lives at the sourceforge site https://sourceforge.net/projects/freecol/. > We have looked over the lists of bugs and would like to know if there is > anything in particular that you would like us to work on. Any bug fixes are welcome. Just beware that some recent bugs are moot due to being reported during a rewrite of the production code. One area we have trouble is with windows and macos specific bugs, as the main developers use linux. > Also, do you have > any bug testing software or special methods that you use to test the game? There is a regression test suite available off the "test" target in the main ant build file. I use some scripts that currently live in test/bin to analyze the overall AI performance. Nothing substitutes for play testing however. Cheers, Mike Pope
