At the devel list of GTA04, the successor of OpenMoko FreeRunner, was
mentioned a project to try improve the situation of the non-free
libertas driver for its MArwell WiFi chip.
Same chip is in the DreamPlug, I believe, so maybe relevant for hardware
geeks among us to follow - or even cont

I'm jumping in just to point out what seem to me as some instances of
faulty reasoning. I do not have a fully formed and informed opinion on
the issue at hand and mean no disrespect to anyone by my comparisons,
