Hi Jerome, how about something we probably already had in earlier distros: Have a menu where people can select checkboxes on a per-group level. The BASE checkbox will always be on and not de-selectable. Some other categories can be default on, but user-unselectable, while yet other categories

Hi Jerome, if I understand you correctly, you suggest to only install BASE by default, then use FDIMPLES to install individual packages from the CD or USB stick later? I would say it is good to have a somewhat more comprehensive default available as well. Similar to Linux installers, where you

Hi everyone, I was pondering the packages included on the LiveCD. There is a lot of stuff there and most likely additional things will be added in the future. Why do we need a FULL install anymore? FDIMPLES is extremely easy to use. We could just install “BASE” with or w/o sources and inform
