I can't recall this list tolerating binary files and/or other
attachments, let alone copyrighted files for which no clear license is
present that would allow redistribution.

Yes, I'd appreciate not distributing binary files on the list. I don't
have 7zip on my computer, so I wasn't able to view this archive file
to see what was inside it, maybe it has source, or not. In general, if
we distribute proprietary programs via the list against copyright,
then we risk damaging

Thanks for the info. That seems ok then, but agreed it would be better to
link to a download page than include it as an attachment.
