Hi! If you get floppy DMA errors with FreeDOS FORMAT (which version? error message?) then consider avoiding UMBs (EMM386, UMBPCI) or using helpers such as LOWDMA of DOSLFN or DMACHECK of UMBPCI to ensure usability. There should also be separate helpers to protect floppy access from crossing 64k
