Nicholas, (no duplicate posts received here from you) I too have a 5.7 MB floppydiskette image, downloaded from some Russian site. it had freedos bootsector in it. you mention Win98, so you have access to win98. if so, download WinImage (www.winimage.com) and you can open the image and replace fil

Okay, I've got an image (4*1.44 MB) that I'm using for a boot disk image. Booting the image is not a problem (memdisk from an isolinux module in bootscriptor, LONG story, and a few other techniques if that doesn't work) the problem is fdxms and xmsdsk. I've got xmsdsk set up to make a 32 MB RAMdis
