I have just recently browsed through the O'Reilly Radius book. I noticed
that is appears to be up to version 0.6 of Freeradius.
Is their any plans for just a Freeradius book?
If not, is their a planned newer edition of the Radius book on the way?
Excellent book, I especially liked the chapter
I compiled freeradius 0.9.3 and tested it with
'radiusd -X' successfully. However, no doc mentions how to get radiusd daemon
running when the system is booted up. Please can someone help. I am using Redhat
9.
Many Thanks.

On RH9 install from rpm, then do chkconfig radiusd on.
Or make you own init scripts.
If you want the rpms I can email them to you.

Ted,
There are currently no plans for another edition of the RADIUS book in
the near future. Usually we investigate doing revisions every 2.5-3
years.
In the early spring, I will be offering an updated guide to FreeRADIUS,
including wireless support, certificate security, and OpenLDAP
I look forward to it :-)

Hmm,
My other message did not make it through. Perhaps people are sick
of hearing about this :)
I grabbed the latest snapshot on friday. Recompiled. Reconfigured the
default radiusd.conf file to use eap/peap.
I am still seeing fragmented Access Challenge packets. However the

Let me know, and how to do that.

I was reading this thread and I would like to suggest you try the
Internet Authentication Service (a radius server) that comes as part
of optional networking components in w2ks
Then use proxy radius.
Ad for realms, if you need to do realm rewriting, good luck. I tried to
