Hi Everyone, we have installed a new max family products - max 6000 & max tnt. we have few pm3. the pm3 work great with the freeradius. but the max don't seems.
firstly the max sends a lot of stratup messgaes to the freeradius which it replies by saying auth error. i am not worried about it. but it gives a error code 51 Thu Apr 11 04:24:17 2002 : Error: Ignoring request from client *:1025 w ith unknown code 51 and clients cannot authenticate. we cannot see the customers appear in the radiuslog. i have searched quite a lot, but haven't had any luck so far with configure the devices with freeradius. i did find somewhere it mentioned that ascend didn't follow some RFC recommendation. i also read that by enabling VSA in the device MAX 6000 it would fix it but no luck so far.
