Hi everybody
With freeradius 0.9.3 , each user session creates three
identical rows in mysql radacct table .
For each session, I receive five paquets :
1) Access-Request
2) Accounting-Request Start
which generates an INSERT request
3) Accounting-Request Start
which generates
Me too please, err is that six... ;)
I would like to see what you have, I have been considering some kind of
raduse replacement, my boss misses it. In FreeBSD it doesn't seem to work
for all shornames, the radwtmp or radutmp whichever it is truncates the
shortnames at 5 or 6 characters. :-(

So then you can clean them up good :). Brute force.

I am looking for a quick and dirty script that will do a straight
conversion of a detail file to the current MySQL radacct schema.
I can write one, but would prefer not to reinvent the wheel if I can...
any pointers (or scripts e-mailed here) would be appreciated.

Yes, MySQL with InnoDB (http://www.innodb.com/) can handle VERY large
tables. Each table is not a single data file, but rather a collection of
'table spaces', much like oracle.

Looking at my old accounting log files, I figure the radacct table would
grow to about 25,000,000 rows in about a year time. Can mysql handle this?
Won't
