No. The counter module tells the NAS to log the user off at that time.
If the user isn't being logged off, then it's the fault of the NAS.

Thanks for the reply and configs. I did figure the problem out. It was the
user and group specified in the radiusd.conf. I changed it to root and all
worked fine. Our configs are fairly similar so I too would be interested in
any glaring problems that someone may see.
