Thanks for the reply, yes i have read that link, Its giving me a broader view
of how freeradius authentication, But doesnt give me a precise configuration
in which am going wrong.

I can use same config files as there are some differences between FR 1 2,

Its really strange as I've tried to build the system on FC10 last year
already - configured from scratch but now with FC14

If you're not going to read it, then I don't see why you're asking

I'm new in Radius, I have read through and follow to all the messages and
documents.
Here is my setup, I have run server and client on the same linux machine.
I able to run 'radtest' and 'radclient' command, and I did successfully
received correct response.
However, when I tried to run

but had made a mess of things and decided to just purge everything and
start over. Freeradius will not start now, because the symlinks and

I would love to run the bootstrap command, but I get the make all error.
Bootstrap did not exist till I copied it down from the web site. Should it work
by copying the .cnf files to /certs, editing them, then running ./bootstrap ?
( I deleted all .csr and .key files)

build-essentials installed and am running commands as root.

I've got the CHAP working fine, but can't work out how to pass the password on.
