- i filter client certificate under authenticate section (under eap) with :

Fairly easy to do, especially with a recent version (ie 2.x) of freeradius

directory in windows using only the user name and password in Active

Correct.
Or simply forget about pfsense and use Mikrotik as NAS which has hotspot
trial time included as a default option.
