i want to install freeradius 2.1.1 into debian system. i think there is no
package for 2.1.1 for debian
when i try to install wiht apt-get install freeradius, it install an old
package,
so i download freeradius-server-2.1.1.tar.gz
and
write this commands
./configure
make
make install
it

Finally i run freeradius 2.0.5 + mysql +wpa with peap mode by your helps
i choose peap because in documents says peap doesnt need clint side ceritficate
still i cant understand the certificate types
i create it by /etc/raddb/certs make
is there other way to build only server side

can anyone tell me the difference between hotspot system and radius servers
in hotspot system client connecting directly to the ap then when they want to
connect
explorer open a page that ask username and password

you sad peap doesn't need client certificates but if you are using
self-signed certificates you need to import CA certificate to user
machines.what will i do for dont uses client certificates

finaly i could run radius with mysql,so thank everyone who helps me,
but i have a new problem
when i test connection with radtest or NTRadPing program it works fine , but in
real world with a notebook on windows xp sp2
it gives an error about, windows cannot find correct certiface or like

i uncomment sql int sites-enabled/default
then i try to runi but there was error in sql.conf about the mysqldriver
driver=rlm_sql_mysql
but there is no file for mysql driver,
because i install freeradiys2.0.5 by yum insatall freeradius on fedora
