Hello,
Maybe someone can guide me out of this maze.
I have a new Fedora 10 install running on Dell intel platform. I installed
freeradius.i386 0:2.1.3-1.fc10 package using yum installer. All I did before
starting in debug mode was edit clients.conf and users file.
I get this error at the end
rewall.
Thanks

Why would I see more than one start entry in the radacct table for a user
all with the same session id?
+-+---+-+-+
| UserName| AccStatus | AcctStartTime | AcctStopTime|
+-+---+---
I’m getting a lot of entries in my radius log on one of our radius servers
like the following:
Error: Reply from home server 10.0.0.1:1646 - ID: 172 arrived too late for
request 5280. Try increasing 'retry_delay' or 'max_request_time'
Error: Reply from home server 10.0.0.2:1646 - ID: 150 arrive
eas at all?

All the ports are open.
The authentication packets and accounting packets are hitting the server ok.
The authentication is being checked against the radcheck table in SQL and
authenticates users.
But the accounting information isn't being written to the radacct table,
even though I can see freerad
radius
accounting isn’t getting logged to sql from the new radius server.
Help someone???
Thanks

We are using a different MySQL database

sql.conf to reflect this.
Authentication is working fine and it’s

That’s going to be a bummer since near enough all us
I need our radius servers to accept any
login attempt regardless of what the username is or the password.
Is there a way of doing this?
I know I can set our radius to accept any
password sent but the user has to exist.
We are taking over the users from a
company that has gone bust.

I want to set a lease time on IP address
assignment.
Does Freeradius do this or the device the
connection is terminated on?
We have an L2TP tunnel terminating dialup
customers on a Cisco 7403.
Is there an attribute to assign users from
Freeradius or a Cisco config line that does this?

Has anyone got any ideas or come across the error before when assign Radius
attributes to a user?
Thanks

Currently the end users IP address is only
sent in accounting stop packets.
Is there a way to get the start packets to
include the IP address also?
Thanks

Any ideas why it’s doing this?
