When you configure free radius with option
3.net-snmp-5.1.2-11.EL4.6 configured with option
'--with-mib-modules=host agentx smux ucd-snmp/lmSensors'
See the output , verify whether it asks for some snmp files, if it says
like snmp.c --- no
That might be the culprit

When I try to monitor radius server with SNMP Manager I find
1. When the radius server goes down the snmp agent generates the trap
which is seen by the SNMP manager (snmp management console).
2. When the snmp agent comes up it generates a trap ( Cold start LINK UP
trap ).

I have integrated free radius server with NET-SNMP for monitoring radius
server. Now the
NET-SNMP daemon is detecting radius server. If I run radius server in
debug mode I get following debug messages.
Module: Instantiated radutmp (radutmp)
main: smux_password = verysecret
After compiling
freeradius with "--with-snmp" option and when i try to run the server in
the debug modeI see.

I want to manage freeradius server remotely . How do I do that on
Solaris 8 box. I have SNMP package ucd-snmp-4.1.2. I configured it.
But when I try to run the snmp deamon it gives me error init_kmem:
kvm_open failed: Permission denied.
