Hi,

I am about to set up a wireless network and would like some sort of security. So far we have chosen the Netgear WG302 access point but I am a little concerned about setting up the radius server. Here are two really basic questions:

a) Does the radius server have to be physically connected to the access point/on the same subnet/anywhere on the network?
b) Will freeradius work with the WG302?
c) Is there some simple step by step guide to setting up freeradius under linux for a WPA setup? I simply want wireless users to be able to have an IP address on our (wired) subnet and have some control over what is going on.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Cheers,
Raphael
