Hello all,
I am doing L2TPNS+FreeRADIUS load test with a third party device. We have
one server running L2TPNS server and FreeRADIUS (v2.1.4) server.
FreeRADIUS authenticates users from users file and assigns them IPs from IP
pool configured in /module/ippool.
Test is running pretty good with

Run ldconfig on the path where the .so file is.

Hello Ivan,
I cannot find out where to configure group_membership_query. Should I see
group check table being read in debug?
Thanks in advance

Hello,
My Freeradius seems only to read radcheck table, not to read radgroupcheck
table from MS SQL.
Here is my settings:
In /mssql/dialup.conf, I edit two queries for authorized_check_query and
authorize_group_check_query, instead of using the default ones. Doing this

Hello all,
I encountered a strange problem while editing "users" file.
I have Freeradius 2.0.5 and MS SQL working together. When a request coming
in, Freeradius forwards it to MS SQL for authentication of username and
password, and Freeradius reads Group Name attribute saved in MS SQL. M

What version is this? In current schema group membership table is
radusergroup not usergroup. Post the whole debug. From this we can only
say that data from radgroupcheck table didn't make it. The bit why is
missing.

Hello all,
I recently got Freeradius with MS SQL to work together. But there is still
one thing to be completed, the IP Pool thing.
I put Pool-Name and it value in radgroupcheck table in MS SQL. I have
Pool-Name set up in radiusd.conf.

Hello all,
The scenario will be: when Freeradius receives a user request, it forwards
it to SQL server (local or remote) for authenticating the username/password.
If the username/password is valid, then Freeradius will use a certain ippool
to assign IP address to the user, based on username.
Hello all,
Is that possible to assign users a default gateway while allocating dynamic
IP addresses from IP pool?
Thank you

Hello all,
I want to use Freeradius to assign IP addresses to clients from main_pool.
After all set up (I think), L2tp tunnel is established but user cannot get
an IP from Freeradius. From the Reply message, I see no IP is replied to
user.
Could anyone take a look at the debug and give me

Hello all,
When I was trying to run Freeradius, I got the following errors. It says no
"rlm_ippool.so" exists. I took a look into /usr/local/lib, and there is no
such file.
Could someone help me on this? Thanks so much.
I need to let Freeradius assign dynamic IP address from IP_Pool
