Dear experts,
I setup mac_auth
these:
a) it has not executed rewrite_calling_station, going by the mac
format in the debug output.
b) The wifi client has a window which prompts for username/password
(not expected in simple mac_auth)
Can someone point out what mistake I am doing?
Thanks a lot.

the policy.conf?
What other changes are required for Mac-auth?
Thanks for any help on this.
Cheers,

All, I am having a problem setting password from the http application. It is getting reset to NULL inside pam_authenticate somehow. The only place I can see password is set to NULL is in the function
void _pam_sanitize(pam_handle_t *pamh) in pam_misc.c file. I've also commented out the invocation
what is the configuration required on radius server(freeradius ver1.0.5)to send challenge messages to the radius client ?
How does Radius server determine when to send challenge messages to the client ?
Thanks,
