It's possible that you are running a Debian-based distro and just
don't have libtiff.so.3; but you probably have libtiff.so.4, so you
can create a symlink so that libtiff.so.3 points to libtiff.so.4.
I have to do this In Debian "etch" and later

Hi Prapti,
I think you have to modify the $LD_LIBRARY_PATH shell variable.
first find where libtiff.so.3 is. Usually "locate libtiff.so.3" will tell
you
where the file is at. On my machine, it is in /usr/lib/ and /usr/lib64/
then
LD_LIBRARY_PATH = $LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/usr/lib64/
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
Hi,
I’ve run across the following error while trying to run qdec in my linux 64 bit
computer,
qdec.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libtiff.so.3: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory
Is there any specific file that I need to download or change configuration of?
Hi Susie, I have a tool that works very well on this type of thing, but
I am not quite ready to release it (a few more weeks). It will be
greatly facilitated if you acquired a whole-brain image during your scan
(this can include the MPRAGE itself). If not, then you'll have to do
some hand regis
Hello,
I would like to register a 2D EPI oblique axial slice to a 3D MPRAGE and am
hoping that Freesurfer will help me do this. I have not had any luck with
other fMRI software packages. Caveat: Each subject's EPI axial slice was taken
parallel to his/her specific hippocampal longitudinal axis
David,
Have you tried increasing the number of iterations during the nu_correct
step? Thats the first normalization step (so, you may have tried this
already).
You can increase the iterations from the default of 2, like this:
recon-all -s -nuintensitycor -nuiterations 6
Inspect the file nu.mg
Julia,
If you haven't already tried this, can you make sure that your display
is set to use 'millions' of colors (thats the Mac OS's way of setting
24bit color).
If that doesnt matter, you can try using the newest freesurfer, v4.1.0,
which is built against vtk v5.2, which is newer than what is in
Dear Yuanchao,
I believe that in the case of polymicrogyric cortex, the lGI will
decrease because the total cortical surface (i.e. the above term of
the lGI equation) is drastically decreased by the numerous and
shallower sulci. However, I did not have any occasion to formally
challenge
Dear Mr or Ms,
If a subject was identified with severe polymicrogyria, which is a brain
malformation marked by development of numerous microgyri, what will the lgi of
the subject behave?
I want to know whether the lgi of the subject would increase or decrease
compared with that of the brain of
